Welcome to Grandma Jeannie's Place

After 24 years, Grandma Jeannie has retired from "The Bank".  And just in case you didn't know, creative accountants are not encouraged.
Several years ago, I discovered that creating handmade gifts makes me very happy.  So, I began thinking about the different things I might be able to create and sell.
This is going to be my first store front and I certainly hope you will stop by often to check out the growing inventory.

First up will be the "Trick or Treat" Ice Cream Bucket Covers. (Bucket not included)
The designs are machine embroidery on felt.  As much as I would love you to buy  a new one every year for Halloween, these can be reused from year to year or passed from child to child.  This can also be used for treat distribution as the little beggars come a knocking or maybe even as a centerpiece.

Available this year we have from top to bottom and left to right:
Cat in Blue Moon on Green
Dancing Jack, Jack-o-lanterns in yellow moom
Jack-o-lantern outline, Pumpkin on Green,
Cat, Old-Fashion Jack -o-lantern, Trio of Jacks,
Witch over Yellow Moon, and Skull over Yellow Moon.
Thought you might like to see one of the designs up close.  Each cover includes a handle cover and fits 4.25L ice cream buckets.
The Trick or Treat covers are selling for $5.00 each plus $1.00 for shipping and handling,
If you are interested in any of these, please contact me by leaving your e-mail address in the comments.

About Me

My photo
My DH and I moved recently from near Des Moines to just south of Branson, MO, Missouri , United States
Sewing has been part of my life since childhood, first clothing and then moving into accessories, home decor, embroidery, and knitting. During the most stressful times of my corporate life, time spent in my sewing room refreshed my spirit. As the world became more environmentally responsible, I began to think about the different things my grandmother did that make economic and environmental sense today. Simple things like carrying lunch to work is not only less expensive, it's usually healthier. Now let's reuse the containers and bag. We just became very smart. Next, if we can reuse a lunch bag, why not carry our own grocery or shopping bags. Families are very busy today, so we need to take every opportunity to enjoy our time together. We also want to save money while doing what's right for the planet. Items that can be reused, easily cared for, make us smile, or just make everyday tasks more enjoyable are the things I hope to make available to you. Every effort is made to use 100% machine washable cotton in our products. Please note fabric content and care instructions included in the product description. My goal is to offer quality products at a fair price.
