Calling All Sports Fans UPDATE and Hey Cyclones, look at this:

As I prepared to construct the Cyclones throw, I decided that I just can't absorb the cost of shipping, but will do my best to find the most economical (least expensive) method. When an order is placed, we can discuss your preferred method of shipping.

Licensed NFL and College logo items are price as follows:
      • Twin/Full (about 55"x70" using 4 yards of fabric)  $75 plus shipping
      • Queen/King (about 115"x 81" using 11 yards of fabric) $195 plus shipping
56" X 69.5"

Calling All Sports Fans

So, I just finished working on these (they're going to good homes).  The picture may look a little strange, but I needed to fold the side over because my banister isn't quite wide enough for two. It does gives a better view of the backing though.

Approx 55"x 70", 2 layer fleece with sewn borders

And have 2 more on the table.
Don't you just love that plaid?  That's new this year.
Now here is my question to you, if you were buying something like this for yourself or as a gift, how much would you be willing to pay?  Remember, about 55" x 70", machine wash and dry, double layer fleece, sewn together to last. Great for the stadium, car, or a cozy game night on the couch.

I'm trying to determine if I can absorb the shipping cost on these.  Of course I know how much the materials cost and my time. I also know they're just a tad bulky and they weigh just under 3 pounds without any packaging.

I would love to be able to ship these to friends far and near, but they may have to be a local item. Since there are so many teams out there, these will be a special order item.  Let me know your favorite team, I'll let you know if the fabric is available, a time frame, and the price.

And just so my warm climate friends won't think I've forgotten them, I see tailgating items in your future.

Once again, I ask you, what do you think would be a fair price?  Please leave a comment or a personal message using the contact link at the top.

Thanks in advance for the input.

And as always,

I love you all,

Grandma Jeannie

Sewing has been part of my life since childhood, first clothing and then moving into accessories, home decor, embroidery, and knitting. During the most stressful times of my corporate life, time spent in my sewing room refreshed my spirit. As the world became more environmentally responsible, I began to think about the different things my grandmother did that make economic and environmental sense today. Simple things like carrying lunch to work is not only less expensive, it's usually healthier. Now let's reuse the containers and bag. We just became very smart. Next, if we can reuse a lunch bag, why not carry our own grocery or shopping bags. Families are very busy today, so we need to take every opportunity to enjoy our time together. We also want to save money while doing what's right for the planet. Items that can be reused, easily cared for, make us smile, or just make everyday tasks more enjoyable are the things I hope to make available to you. Every effort is made to use 100% machine washable cotton in our products. Please note fabric content and care instructions included in the product description. My goal is to offer quality products at a fair price.
